Today my post is going to be about software called Launchy.Do you think that your desktop is too crowded and has many app’s and folders.Isn`t it tiring searching through all of that just to find a folder or program.Don’t you wish that you just type the name of the program or file and it straight away comes up.That is where Launchy comes on.Launchy is a free windows utility that allows you access all your documents and files by just typing it in the search box and clicking enter.They also have a  variety of skinks and plugins to choose from.

1. Able to search Google:-Type "google"(no quotation).Press tab.Type what you want to search.Press Enter.You will be directed to your search in your browser
2. Check Weather           :-Type "weather""(no quotation).Press tab.Type your zipcode,city or state.Click Enter.You will be directed to your search in your browser.
3. Able to search other websites:-Wikipedia,MSN, yahoo, amazon, netflix, imdb and many more.(direction same as above)

Everytime you visit a Website, your web browser stores the URL on your hard disk.That bit of data is called a cookie.Cookie store things like user ID`s so that you don’t have to retype them everytime you want to access a particular secured site.They also record your prefences when using a particular site.One of the most common uses of cookies is for banner-ad rotation.The site recognizes you through a cookie when you arrive and then displays a banner you haven`t seen before.

The good news is, cookies help purveyors of Web-Based products and services to know your prefences.The bad news is, your privacy is at least somewhat compromised.You can view the cookies that have been stored on your computer any time you want to.

You can have your browser disable cookies or warn you before accepting a cookie.Look for the cookie option in your browser on the Option or Preferences menu.

Today my post is going to be about Download Accelerator Plus.DAP is accutaly a program that allows you to accelerate your download up to 400%.I found this cool software while I was browsing through download.com.This software comes with a free and a premium service.DAP works with firefox.I am not sure about IE or Opera as I  don’t use those browsers.The free service comes with a file shredder and a file called My Completed Downloads.

Today my post is going to be about some handy keyboard shortcuts that you can use.Here are them as follow:-

RESIZE IT

Have you ever thought are too large or to small for your liking?Maybe you are using a high-resolution monitor or a small CRT screen and you find all of this very annoying?

If you do and you are running on Windows Vista you are in for a break.You don`t have to go to the trouble of resizing your desktop.Just go to your desktop,click on the Ctrl key and mouse scroll to change the size of the icons.

P.S;-Make sure you are on your desktop.If you are not sure just click any blank part of your screen and you will be.

SAFE YOUR MONEY WITH SAVE MODE

If you ever encounter a problem with your Windows PC after you install any program or device, you dont have to go running to the nearest IT Technician for help.Just follow this simple steps and you dont have to waste tons of money:-

1. You have to be in Safe Mode(Safe Mode is a simple version of windows where you have none your custom option or driver installed)
2. To go to safe mode restart your PC and press F8 when you see the words “Starting Windows”
3. Now you will be able to uninstall the program or diver without any hassle.

MAKE A QUICK COPY

To make a quick copy of any file,folder or program it is as easy as ABC.You just have to press the Ctrl key and click on the file,folder or program you want to make a copy and click the desktop and you will have copy.

Hello and welcome to this jagdesh.com.First let me start off by thanking Daniel Pataki(Blogtastique.com)for creating this blog for me.Daniel had agreed to host a domain for me and I will eternally grateful to him.Now let me state the main focus of this blog.This blog is going to be 80% sided to technology side focusing on computer related stuff.But I know this somewhat boring so I have decided that I will slit in some extra *stuff* to make this blog more diverse and entertaining.This would include jokes,history,entertainment,gossip and etc etc.I really hope you will enjoy reading this blog as much as I would enjoy writing it for you.Again i would like Daniel for all of this and enjoy reading this blog.
